This Cookie Policy describes the use of cookies and trackers on the Spotwee platform, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU Regulation 2016/679), the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.
A cookie is a small file deposited on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. It allows information about your browsing to be stored and to recognize you on subsequent visits. Trackers are similar technologies (invisible pixels, local storage, technical identifiers) used for comparable purposes. This policy covers all of these technologies.
Spotwee sets cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to work (keeping signed-in users' sessions alive) and one cookie recording your privacy preferences. An anti-bot mechanism (Cloudflare Turnstile) protects public forms; it may set a short-lived technical cookie when a security challenge is displayed. These trackers are strictly necessary to deliver and secure the service and are exempt from consent. Spotwee also runs cookieless audience measurement provided by Vercel Web Analytics: it sets no cookie and writes nothing to your device, and it is enabled only if you consent via the preferences module. Spotwee carries out no advertising targeting and uses no marketing cookies.
Used for the proper operation of the platform, in particular authentication and security. Exempt from consent under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.
Spotwee uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand platform usage and improve the service: pages viewed, referrer, device type and country, plus a few key funnel steps (search started, listing viewed, request sent). This solution sets no cookie and writes nothing to your device; no data is sold or combined with other sources. It is enabled only if you consent, and can be turned off at any time from the preferences management module.
Not used at this stage. Spotwee does not engage in any advertising targeting.
Spotwee sets the following cookies. Audience measurement is not listed here: it works without cookies and without writing anything to your device.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-* (cookies whose name starts with sb-) | Supabase Auth | Maintaining the logged-in user's session (authentication) | Session duration (token renewed automatically) | Essential |
| spotwee_consent | Spotwee | Storing your privacy choices (audience measurement, marketing) | 6 months | Essential |
| cf_chl_* (set only if a security challenge is displayed) | Cloudflare (Turnstile) | Anti-bot verification of public forms — service security | Duration of the challenge (up to 30 minutes) | Essential |
The exact number of cookies deposited may vary depending on the user's connection status. This list will be updated if new cookies or trackers are activated.
A preferences management module is live: you can accept, refuse or customize your choices by category at any time, using the button below. Refusing audience measurement immediately disables all statistical collection.
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies via its privacy settings. The procedures vary depending on the browser used (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.).
Some features, particularly login, may not work correctly if essential cookies are blocked. Refusal of non-essential cookies (when activated) will not affect the main use of the platform.
The cookies deposited by Spotwee have a maximum lifespan of 13 months, in accordance with CNIL recommendations. If audience measurement cookies are activated in the future, they will also respect this limit. Data derived from audience measurement would be retained for a maximum of 25 months.
Spotwee reserves the right to modify this Cookie Policy. Substantial changes will be notified to Users via the platform. The date of last update is displayed at the top of the page.
