This Cookie Policy describes the use of cookies and trackers on the Spotwee platform, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU Regulation 2016/679), the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file deposited on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. It allows information about your browsing to be stored and to recognize you on subsequent visits. Trackers are similar technologies (invisible pixels, local storage, technical identifiers) used for comparable purposes. This policy covers all of these technologies.
2. Why does Spotwee use cookies?
At this stage of the service, Spotwee only uses cookies strictly necessary for the platform's operation, in particular to maintain the session of logged-in users. Spotwee does not currently use any audience measurement or marketing cookies. Should Spotwee activate such cookies in the future, your prior consent would be collected via a preferences management module and this page would be updated accordingly.

Essential cookies (consent not required)
Used for the proper operation of the platform, in particular authentication and security. Exempt from consent under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.
Audience measurement cookies (consent required)
Not used at this stage. Would be used to understand platform usage and improve the service. Activation would require your consent.
Marketing and advertising cookies (consent required)
Not used at this stage. Spotwee does not engage in any advertising targeting.

5. Managing preferences

A preferences management module will be added before the public launch of the platform. Once active, you will be able to accept, refuse or customize your choices by category.
Browser settings
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies via its privacy settings. The procedures vary depending on the browser used (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.).
Consequences of refusal
Some features, particularly login, may not work correctly if essential cookies are blocked. Refusal of non-essential cookies (when activated) will not affect the main use of the platform.
6. Retention periods
The cookies deposited by Spotwee have a maximum lifespan of 13 months, in accordance with CNIL recommendations. If audience measurement cookies are activated in the future, they will also respect this limit. Data derived from audience measurement would be retained for a maximum of 25 months.
7. Updates
Spotwee reserves the right to modify this Cookie Policy. Substantial changes will be notified to Users via the platform. The date of last update is displayed at the top of the page.
