Frequently asked questions
Is a request a confirmed booking?
No. A request on Spotwee is an introduction: it lets the owner check availability and open a conversation. The booking is finalized directly with the owner.
Does Spotwee process payments?
Not yet. Spotwee does not currently process online payments. Payment, where applicable, happens directly between you and the owner. An online payment feature is planned for a future version.
Who responds to my request?
The venue owner receives your request by email and answers directly. You are notified of their decision (accept, decline, or ask a question) by email and/or through Spotwee depending on the available features.
Can I list a venue that's only available occasionally?
Yes. Spotwee is built for flexible venues. You set your availability and accepted uses, and you're always free to accept or decline each request.
What types of events are accepted?
It depends on each owner. Shoots, workshops, meetings, pop-ups, private events or creative projects are the most common uses. Each owner indicates what they accept.
